Godmorgen mandag! Det har været en fantastisk weekend for mit vedkommende. Min kæreste flyttede nemlig til London i fredags! Yay yay yay! Så vi har været ude at udforske London lidt haha – vi har været i Shoreditch, Notting Hill (hvor vi bor, duh) på Portobello Road Market og så videre. Og jeg er rigtig kommet i julehumør imens! Derfor denne lækre, julede smoothie med chai-smag. Kig nedenfor, hvis der er nogen ingredienser du ikke har, eller søger at skifte ud i.

Good morning y’all! It’s Monday again and I love it. Remember what I told you about doing this on Mondays? After the moving, I haven’t done any running really. So sad. Should really start again now…

Anywho – here is the recipe for a chai smoothie with build-in Christmas vibes. It’s soon Christmas you know! Look below for both recipe and my top tips for swapping ingredients etc.

coconut chai smoothie

Recipe for 2 smoothies:

2 bananas / 2 bananer

5 ice cubes / 5 isterninger

2-3 tbsp flax seed / 2-3 spsk hørfrø

1 pinch of ground clove / 1 nip stødt nelliker

1 pinch of ground ginger / 1 nip stødt ingefær

½ tsp cinnamon / ½ tsk kanel

Alt. a little cardamom / Evt. lidt kardemomme

½ dl oats  / ½ dl havregryn

1 cup milk of choice / 1 cup mælk

1 cup coconut water / 1 cup kokosvand

toptips
Feel free to swap out the spices in this recipe. You can make it a carrot cake smoothie for example, by adding more cinnamon and some shredded carrot. If you don’t have coconut water on hand, just add spring water or extra milk.

The smoothie can be made VEGAN if you use soya or almond milk e.g. and GLUTENFREE with glutenfree oats. Easy peasy.
