Derfor er det en travl uge, men jeg startede den alligevel ud med en dejlig løbetur i parken for at få noget frisk luft og nu er jeg klar til at arbejde resten af dagen.

Jeg er sikker på I vil elske denne opskrift, den er så nem og utroligt lækker. Den mætter godt, og kan fint stå alene som et helt måltid. Happy mousse making!

Good morning everyone, and welcome to a new week. This week is a busy one for me, a lot is going on at the moment. I am actually in the midst of some crazy big personal changes, so I’m sorry if I am a bit more absent than usual. However I did manage to start up my week with a Monday run. Now I’m all showered, filled with fresh air from the nearest park and ready to work. After a good run or a heavy lifting session, nothing is better than filling up with good proteins and the sweet taste of salty caramel.

Basically this mousse is even suitable for breakfast, preferably topped with a heaping spoon of your favorite nut butter. I’m all into it.

vegan sugarfree chickpea mousse

 (1 big serving)

1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed / 1 dåse kikærter 

1 serving size of Quest Nutrition Salted Caramel protein powder / 1 pose Quest Protein Salted Caramel proteinpulver

Cinnamon/ Kanel   

 Almond milk / Mandelmælk

Mix everything in a small chopper or blender and serve right away!

top tips

Try swapping the chickpeas for butter beans for an even creamier consistency, and add any spice you’d like – try with vanilla or even licorice. If you don’t have Quest’s protein powder, just use any other, but I’d really recommend this one though. So yummy.

The mousse can be made VEGAN with another, vegan protein powder and it is GLUTENFREE. If you eat dairy, feel free to swap the almond milk for regular cow’s milk.

    This sounds amazing! My boys are vegetarian and now they’re slowly taking dairy out of their diet. I’ll have to try this for them.

    This looks delicious, but just FYI this isn’t vegan. Quest’s protein powder has whey in it!
